The Division of Dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine has a robust research program, including basic science, translational, and clinical research. Dr. Beth McLellan is using cutting edge techniques to study radiation dermatitis and scalp cooling for prevention of chemotherapy-induced alopecia in patients with textured hair types.

Dr. Kristina Campton and Dr. Steven Cohen study our large population of patients in our hidradenitis suppurativa treatment center.

Dr. Kseniya Kobets is studying alopecia, acne scarring, and improving laser outcomes in patients with skin of color.

Dr. Holly Kanavy directs our robust clinical trials unit with a full-time dermatopharmacology fellow.

Dr. David Ciocon leads clinical research examining skin cancer and treatment in our diverse patient population.
