Student Circulation: Certificate and Masters students typically circulate through three (3) of Yeshiva University's campuses.
Montefiore: The Montefiore-Einstein Center for Bioethics is located at the Moses Division campus of the Montefiore Medical Center, in the Bronx. Students can find directions to the campus here. Parking information can be found under this listing of local services. The Center itself — where advising, administration, internships and small courses will occur — is located at 75 East 208th Street, at the bottom left corner of this map.
Einstein: The Albert Einstein College of Medicine is located in Yeshiva's Jack and Pearl Resnick Campus, in the Morris Park section, also in the Bronx. Directions and maps can be found here. Familiarity with the campus and its buildings is important, since many of the programs' courses and retreats will be held here, and most all students' registration, tuition and administration issues will be processed through Einstein's offices. Cardozo: The Benjamin N Cardozo School of Law is located in Manhattan's Greenwich Village area, on the corner of 5th Avenue and 12th Street. Map and directions to the building can be found here. Seminars for the Certificate Program and law courses are held here, as are several Center for Bioethics seminars.
Computer Resources
Locations: The University encourages the use of computers as tools to enhance education. Leading edge computer facilities are available for use by faculty and students to support teaching and learning. State-of-the-art hardware and software are installed by and receive ongoing support from the Academic Computing Division of Academic Services (within Information Technology Services, also known as ITS) which also provides on-site support for basic system usage. There are public computers available at several locations in Einstein's Gottesman Library for student use any time. No login or password is required. This includes computers and study access to the Beren Center which is open 24/7. The library also has laptops that may be borrowed for 4 hour increments.
Wireless: Wi-Fi coverage is accessible throughout campus (except for student housing). For information on how to connect to the YUWireless and YUGuest networks please visit here.
Financial Aid and Tuition Coverage
Financial Aid at Einstein: We know the cost of education is an important consideration when deciding where to pursue a degree. The Montefiore-Einstein Center for Bioethics is committed to ensuring you’re knowledgeable about all of your financial aid options.
Convenient payment plans are available for all enrolled in the Certificate and Masters programs. The University uses Tuition Management for payment plans (site: www.afford.com), where students will be able to enroll in a plan for each semester, and make several payments throughout the given period.
Also, all US citizens and permanent residents enrolled in the MBE program are eligible for significant loans.

Tuition Reimbursement Options: Significant tuition reimbursement has long been available for the Certificate Program and is also available for courses in our fully accredited, degree-granting MBE program. Please contact the pertinent office in your institution, since coverage rates vary and those with good information have been able to obtain sustained support for exceptional educational experiences with us.

Internships, Assistantships and Rotations
Internships: The Center for Bioethics sponsors a small number of interns during the summer and occasionally research assistants during the school year. Interns and RAs must have a demonstrated interest in bioethics and will be assigned projects that support the Center.
Rotations: Medical students and house staff at Montefiore Medical Center may also request a rotation on the Bioethics Consultation service, during which they will be asked to complete a specific project in bioethics. Contact us to learn more.
Libraries and Research Resources
Student Circulation: Certificate and Masters students will typically utilize services at the main libraries of the College of Medicine and School of Law.
Einstein's Gottesman Library: The D. Samuel Gottesman Library serves the diverse information and research needs of faculty, students, residents, postdocs and staff in the medical and biomedical programs of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Its entrance is located on the first floor in the Forchheimer building. Group study rooms and a quiet room are available.
The Library is a comprehensive resource for discovery of quality information. Its website is the gateway to print and electronic resources for bioethics research, medical education, clinical medicine, pre-clinical sciences, biomedical sciences, public health.
Certificate and Masters students will need to come to the Library with their Einstein picture ID to register in order to borrow materials, laptops and for Remote Access to electronic resources.
Cardozo's Chutick Library: The Dr. Lillian and Dr. Rebecca Chutick Law Library is the focal point for student and faculty research at Cardozo. The library's entrance is on the 7th floor of Cardozo, and it holds more than 540,000 books, periodicals, microforms, and audio and video materials. Through its subscriptions and purchases, the library provides access to thousands of law and law-related electronic resources. More information can be found here and here.
Recreation and Dining Facilities
Einstein: Campus life at Einstein offers a wide variety of lectures of professional and scientific interest, as well as concerts and art shows. Student lounges and other facilities are available for student events and for quiet relaxation or recreation. They provide pocket billiards, stereo music, television, and automated food service. Students may elect to join the Anne and Isidore Falk Recreation Center, which houses a swimming pool, gymnasium, racquetball and squash courts, exercise and weight training rooms, saunas and steam baths, and a suspended jogging track. Tennis, volleyball, softball and touch football areas are on campus or nearby.
The University-operated dining hall, on the ground floor of Abraham Mazer Hall, is typically open 11:30a–2:00p on days when classes are held. Neighborhood restaurants are also available to students.
Cardozo: Cardozo's student lounge is located on the third floor and is generally available for student use at all times that the building is open. Students should demonstrate consideration for others by refraining from loud noise, limiting their consumption of food and beverage to the designated areas, and disposing of their trash before leaving the lounge.
The Café is also available for Cardozo student use at all times that the building is open, though the food service is available only on weekdays when school is in session. In addition, vending machines, a refrigerator, microwaves, and a water cooler are available for student use at all times. The Café food service is a part of the Yeshiva University Department of Food Services, which conducts a kosher operation, under the rabbinical supervision of the Kashruth Division of the Union of Orthodox Congregations of America. In addition, all Cardozo events are catered by kosher caterers.
Individual students are free to bring kosher or non-kosher food into the building for their own consumption only. Students are asked to respect the designations on microwaves and other food facilities when preparing or storing their food.
