Alumni More than 9,000 Einstein MD, MD / PhD, and PhD graduates serve the nation as leading physicians, medical educators, and biomedical scientists. Since its inception in 1962, the Einstein Alumni Association has provided support and assistance to Einstein and its students, with emphasis on scholarships and improving quality of student life. Alumni are at the core of our Einstein community. In addition to serving as respected members of society, the Alumni Association supports and participates in programs that benefit current Einstein students. Alumni Association members continue the tradition of excellence in medicine and education by sponsoring ceremonies for first-year students, including white coat, stethoscope, and scrubs. In that same way, alumni are always willing to mentor and network with students. In addition, alumni remain engaged with Einstein through various ways, including reunion celebrations, on-campus events, regional events, and communications such as Einstein magazine and the Connections e-newsletter. To learn about the many ways to remain engaged, please contact the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at firstname.lastname@example.org. Alumni Events On behalf of the Alumni Association and Office of Alumni Relations, thank you for joining us—whether by dialing in or in spirit—for virtual Alumni Day on May 4. We hope you enjoyed the presentations by Dr. Gordon F. Tomaselli, ’82; Dr. Sten Vermund, ’77; and Dr. Parsa Mirhaji. Over 100 alumni and friends tuned in and many participated in Q&As. Please note recording and copies of all presentation slides will be available soon here. Although we continue to practice physical distancing and we have postponed all alumni events for the immediate future, we hope you stay socially connected with us. Please know the Office of Development and Alumni Relations is always available to our wonderful alumni. Classes of the 0’s and 5’s, stay tuned for an invitation to return in 2021 to celebrate with the 6’s and 1’s. Our community’s health is our highest concern. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to welcoming you back to campus next year.
