Dr. Levi completed her undergraduate degree at Barnard College and obtained her MD/MPH from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her Residency Training in OB/GYN at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and then went on the complete a Fellowship in Family planning at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her primary research interest is in immediate postpartum initiation of long acting reversible contraceptive methods and she has completed a randomized trial of IUD insertion at time of cesarean delivery. Since joining the AECOM Faculty, she has led an initiative to make IUDs and Contraceptive Implants available to women during the immediate postpartum period on the Labor and Delivery and Postpartum Units.
