About Student Activities

The Office of Student Activities under the direction of Student Affairs is responsible for most of the nonacademic, quality-of-life at Einstein, from orientation through graduation, and more. We work with the entire Einstein community to put together programming that meets the needs of our students. We meet regularly with the student committees, Student Governing Board, mentor student clubs and create social activities to foster the Einstein community.

The Director of Student Activities serves as ombudsman to students on a daily basis, offering advice and assistance in addressing the myriad needs that students have, whether school-related or personal in nature.

In addition to producing large-scale, student-oriented events and overseeing a variety of committees, clubs and special interest groups, the Office of Student Activities assists students with their own events, such as skit night, fun day, ice-skating night, winter fundraisers and formal dances. We also work with the Office of Student Affairs to offer students special academic events, and take the lead in producing important Einstein events, such as commencement, orientation, presidential lecture, the Marshall S. Horwitz, M.D. Prize for Faculty Research Excellence, the biennial Convocation and Investiture Ceremony and special symposia and lectures.

We strive to build a sense of community for all students on campus and make them feel welcomed!
