University Scholars Clinical and Research Fellowships

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine is delighted to offer competitive clinical and research fellowships for qualified applicants. In addition to departmental offerings, the Albert Einstein College of Medicine also sponsors a Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) which includes an option for a Masters of Science Degree in Clinical Investigation.

Fellowship areas include but are not limited to Health Equity, Clinical and Translational Research, Integrated Behavioral Health Care and Administrative Psychiatry, and Bioethics. Past fellows have also chosen areas of personal interest to pursue. These have included the use of complementary agents and dietary supplements, exercise and meditation, work with Mandarin speakers, personal narratives of individuals who rejected their religious affiliation, the neuropsychiatry of adolescence, and the experience of LGBTQ adolescents across nationalities. These fellowships are not ACGME accredited but offer unique opportunities to explore personal interests, and to acquire clinical and scientific expertise. With the exception of Health Equity and the Clinical and Translational Research Fellowship, applicants must have completed training in psychiatry. Applications should submit their curriculum vitae, a letter of interest and three letters of recommendation.
