The overall goal for the Population Health and Health Systems (PHHS) Core is to support research that promotes the health of populations with or at risk for diabetes. The Core addresses how to improve the uptake of type 2 diabetes research findings into practice and disseminate effective interventions across health care and community settings. Emphasis is on improving health outcomes that are equitable and sustainable.
