Event Description:
A positive learning environment is critical to fostering education and professional identity formation for future physicians and physicians in training. There are many threats that can erode a productive learning environment, including clinical and personal stressors.
This workshop will help identify these stressors and empower faculty to apply strategies that promote a highly effective learning environment.
After attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
•List threats to an effective learning environment
•Identify personal stressors
•Apply tools to manage the stress of the learning environment
•Develop a strategy for fostering a highly effective learning environment
