Overview At Montefiore-Einstein, we provide a platform to train highly motivated surgical residents with an interest to pursue a career as a surgeon-scientist with a focus on cancer. The fellows’ exposure to mentors with clinical, basic, and translational research expertise allows for a unique multidisciplinary experience. Our T32 training program seeks to be a safe, inclusive, and just institution of medicine, science, and education that attracts, supports, and promotes people and voices from historically marginalized groups, actively counters exclusionary and oppressive systems, and centers our diverse Bronx community and beyond as we pursue responsive science and health equity. Outstanding Centers These centers provide the trainee with broad resources to understand translational cancer biology. Our program seeks to recruit diverse, excellent fellows year in and year out.
