Welcome to Albert Einstein College of Medicine Human Resources website. The Human Resources department is a service organization. Our role is to provide services that support the full employment cycle: pre-employment to retirement. Our commitment to service is rooted in the college’s history of inclusivity and acceptance and is exemplified in our longstanding partnership with Montefiore. We serve as a partner in support of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine’s Mission, Strategic Plan and its commitment to growing and strengthening our partnerships, research programs, and medical education.

Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) is a premier, research-intensive medical school dedicated to innovative biomedical investigation and to the development of ethical and compassionate physicians and scientists. Einstein is now part of Montefiore, and at the core of Einstein-Montefiore’s mission is the pursuit of social justice in meeting the healthcare needs of individuals, including those from underserved communities.

Founded in 1955, Einstein is one of the nation’s premier institutions for medical education, basic research and clinical investigation. A full-time faculty of more than 2,000 conducts research, teaches, and delivers health care in every major biomedical specialty. The college has 725 medical students, 180 Ph.D. students, 103 MD/Ph.D. students and 303 postdoctoral fellows. Einstein offers challenging, exciting, and rewarding careers for diverse and highly talented individuals who are dedicated to advancing pioneering educational and research initiatives. Einstein also boasts a great work location in a rapidly developing residential area of the northeast Bronx, surrounded by single-family homes and apartment buildings that make up the neighborhoods known as Morris Park, Eastchester and Pelham Parkway. The neighborhood is also home to Montefiore’s Weiler Hospital and Einstein affiliate Jacobi Medical Center. It is a tight-knit, culturally diverse community, in close proximity to many popular Bronx attractions, as well as to Manhattan and Westchester County.
